SINGLE ROOMS
Not all hotels have Single Ensuite Rooms. A Single Supplement may apply in a Single Bedded Room and almost always for Single Occupancy of a Twin/Double Ensuite Room, although sometimes the full room rate still applies (we'll advise the correct pricing before confirming your booking).
CHILDREN
Many Scotland by Car hotels offer free accommodation to children up to the ages of around 11 - 15 years when sharing the same room with two adults. Some hotels have an inclusive Bed & Breakfast charge for children, at other hotels, children's Breakfast is paid by Clients directly to the hotel. Details of individual childen's costs are available on request.
SUPPLEMENTS
There may be some supplements on certain dates at hotels (e.g. special events) but we'll always confirm the best available rate with you first to make sure you're happy before confirming your booking.
Superior/Master/Executive rooms (hotels have different names) or Suites may be available at some hotels for which a supplement is payable - details on request.
NOTES
At most hotels we recommend booking only Bed & Breakfast in advance as some hotels have a variety of dinner menus available, including a'la carte restaurant menus and bistro/bar menus, and you might find it easier to pay for meals as taken. Please ask if you prefer booking on an inclusive Half Board basis (Dinner, Bed & Breakfast).
Advance booking of a table in a restaurant or bar is strongly recommended (quite often essential) in most/nearly all locations, including for a hotel's own restaurant even for residents. We will be happy to ask a hotel to reserve a table for you if you wish (at least for your first night) (you can pay directly to the hotel for dinner). Please advise any dietary requirements and/or allergies in advance. Most restaurants stop serving after 8pm or 9pm and some may not be open every day.
When you're looking at places/attractions to visit, it is worth checking opening dates/times and also if it is necessary or advised to pre-book a visit time.
